U21 Ski Program at Mountain Creek
For Athletes Ages 18-20
The U21 program represents the pinnacle of junior ski racing at Mountain Creek. At this level, athletes refine every aspect of performance — technical, tactical, physical, and mental — to compete successfully at the FIS and collegiate level. Training is individualized and rigorous, emphasizing precision, speed, and consistency under pressure.
The U21 program represents the final step in the Mountain Creek racing journey — preparing athletes for elite collegiate, national, or FIS racing careers.
What ATHLETES Learn
- World-Class Technique – Fine-tuning body position, timing, and edge engagement to maximize efficiency and power.
- Race Specialization – Continued mastery of Slalom (SL), Giant Slalom (GS), and Super-G (SG); optional Downhill (DH) depending on athlete goals.
- Elite Tactics & Strategy – Understanding terrain flow, race-day adaptation, and data-driven feedback for line optimization.
- Professional Preparation – Focus on equipment setup, tuning mastery, physical conditioning, nutrition, and mental resilience.
- Leadership & Mentorship – U21 athletes often take on leadership roles within the program, mentoring younger racers and modeling professionalism.
